CHANGE TO VERTICAL CLEARANCE OF BRIDGE A:

On September 13, 2006 after setting the permanent girders for Bridge A THE VERTICAL CLEARANCE FOR THE CHANNEL has been PERMANENTLY SET TO 70-FEET  AT MEAN HIGH WATER.  Vessels requiring a higher vertical clearance than this must find an alternative route.
