Construction Activities

Please Note: While every attempt has been made to minimize
disruptions to traffic, there may be times when traffic is slowed
or delays are unavoidable due to deliveries or movement of
materials and equipment etc. Please be aware of this when planning
any travel to and from the islands and allow extra time for your
journey.
General Information
-
Miscellaneous activities necessary to finalize the work on Bridge
A, Bridge B, Bridge C, and the new roadways from the Toll Plaza to
Sanibel may require work in and around the travel lanes during the
daylight hours during the next several weeks. Traffic control
measures will be put in place as the work requires. Caution is
advised.
Bridges A, B & C
-
Miscellaneous activities to finalize all work on the bridge
structures, which may restrict movement through the bridges.
Boaters advised to obey the no wake rule. Caution is
advised.
Boat Ramp Parking Area/ Restrooms/Fish Cleaning
Station

Miscellaneous activities necessary to finalize the work is
continuing, personnel
using the boat ramp advised that caution should be used.
Toll
Plaza
-
New signage is to be mounted on barrier wall along the out bound
travel lane at the Toll Plaza and will require closure of the
travel lane. All traffic will be diverted through a toll lane. This
work is scheduled for May 22nd during the daylight
hours. Traffic control measures will be put in place as the work
requires. Caution is advised.
