Jacobs Construction Services, Inc. will serve as construction
manager on this project. The primary subcontractor on this project
will also be Boh Bros. Construction Co., LLC. Jacobs Civil, Inc.,
won a number of awards for their design work on the recent
Interstate 75 Peace River Bridge Replacement Project that was
constructed with Boh Bros. Construction Co., LLC. as a part of
their design/build team. These
included:

2004 Engineering Excellence Honor Award, American Council of
Engineering Companies (ACEC). Known as the “Academy
Awards” of the engineering industry, ACEC’s 2004
Engineering Excellence Awards competition recognizes the
year’s best engineering
achievements.

2004 Engineering Excellence Grand Award, Florida Institute of
Consulting Engineers (FICE). The Grand Award is the highest-level
award given in the program and recognizes engineering firms for
projects that demonstrate a high degree of achievement, value, and
ingenuity.

2004 Build America Award, National Associated General Contractors
(AGC)/AON. Boasted as the construction industry’s
“Oscars,” the Build America awards symbolize excellence
in construction and ultimately promote quality, uniqueness, and
innovation within individual projects.

Best of 2003 Judges’ Award (Best Overall), Southeast
Construction Magazine. This project was selected out of 48 projects
based on the criteria of construction quality, innovation, and
ability to overcome unique construction or design
challenges.

2002 Roadway Work Zone Safety Awareness Award, American Road &
Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) and National Safety
Council (NSC). This safety award recognizes public awareness
campaigns to reduce roadway work zone construction accidents,
injuries, and fatalities. As one of two winners selected in the
Innovations in Technology category, Jacobs was recognized for our
innovative application of technologies to improve safety and
maintain near-normal traffic flow during construction.
